今回は木造耐火建築物のお話です。
電車に揺られて1時間ちょっと、木造耐火建築物の耐火検査に
行ってきました。建物は木造3階建てのワンルームタイプ合計9戸からなる
共同住宅です。検査回数は4回を予定してまして今回は第1回目の
構造駆体の検査でした。ここで簡単に耐火建築物のご説明をさせて
いただきます。普通は、耐火建築物と聞いてRC造や鉄骨造を想像されますが
木造においても、きちんと耐火仕様にすれば耐火建築物となるのです。
その仕様とは木部を石膏ボード等の不燃材料で覆って、火の粉の木部への
延焼を遮断するという意味です。今回の検査は不燃材料で覆う前の構造駆体が
設計図書通りにきちんと施工されているかの確認です。床根太や柱、梁の
大きさや間隔、床材や野地板の厚みをスケールをあてて検査してきました。
